Apple in Education:

Apple is a large part of the world today. The technology that is in the classroom is important for and the success of the teachers and students.

The Reading Lady:
This is a great tool for assessments, lesson plan ideas, worksheets, staff development, writing and parent assistance.

IRA:
The International Reading Association is the world's leading organization of literacy professionals. It provides the newest research available to literacy professionals.

OSPI:
The State of Washington's Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction website shows the assessments, standards and programs used in the classrooms. There are also other resources such as teaching tools, family resources, certification info and much more.

Read 180:
Read 180 is a reading intervention program by Scholastic. The intervention program is computer based and it works on all aspects of literacy.

Read Write Think:
Read Write Think is a wonderful website for today's teachers. The website provides amazing ideas and resources for the classroom and terrific professional resources.

Scholastic:
This website is a great site resource for teachers and students. They have a wonderful selection of books as well.

The Khan Academy:
The Khan Academy is a free educational website for all ages. The website provides over 100,000,000 lessons.

The White House, Education Issues:
This website is the White House's official site. This portion of the site is all about education in the United States.

Houghton Mifflin Reading:
This is a reading resource for students, parents, and teachers.

The Stacks:
The Stacks is a kid based reading website. On the site there are popular book lists, blogs, and games for students.
